The change from a private to a public status is a major step in the lifecycle of a company. SCC has a proven track record of success in helping organizations in managing this transformation process. We support the management team of our clients in achieving their communication objectives in two phases: In the first phase as a preparation during the months leading up to the IPO and in the second phase immediately after the IPO or listing (so-called “cold IPO”), lasting for a longer period.

In conjunction with IPO Programs SCC establishes dedicated awareness about the client many months prior to the IPO among potential investors, strategic partners and other constituents, who may be in a position to assist the company to achieve its goals. This can be funding as a temporary financing measure, providing important business contacts or other issues. Apart from setting up personal contacts we precisely target investors by financial communication. One common major aim must be to inspire interest in the client’s shares. In order to increase goodwill for investments the story has to differentiate our clients from their peers and competitors.

Shortly before the IPO is realized, SCC assists the client’s company board, management and the employees with internal communication in order to be ready for the changes associated with the existence as a public company. Inline with the company’s legal counsel we support the client in developing the organizational infrastructure and the mindset, which is necessary to ensure consistent IR fulfilment and compliance with legal security rules, as well as publicity and exchange regulations. The company's management can rely on us as a professional helping hand to ensure a steady flow of corporate press releases in order to raise public visibility about the company.

After the IPO is done SCC maintains the management in building sustainable relationships and in communicating with its new stakeholders.
